Curriculum Vita and Bio
My program of research examines how the salience, self-importance, object relevance and diagnosticity of identities interact to influence memory, judgments, attitudes, psycho-physiological reactions, behaviors, psychological functioning and adaptation. I use a diverse set of methodological approaches matched to my specific research questions. I primarily apply survey, lab, quasi-experimental and field experimental techniques.
I have published several articles that you can peruse in the “List of Papers” section (see right panel on this page) of the site.
My research program falls within 7 domains: 1. Building a Theory of Identity, 2. Identity Formation, 3. Multiple Identities and Conflict, 4. Identity and Dual-Evaluations, 5. Identity (Moral) and Rationalization, 6. Health Identity and 7. Identity Reinforcement.
