One of the most important things I have learned in this journey called “life” is that there is nothing more important than family. Possessions and “things” fade away (you cannot take them with you when you depart), but memories of the ones that you love are what is permanent and eternal. At the end of the day, all one has is family and friends.
I have been blessed to have loving parents who shepherded me through my formative years, caring and nurturing me to put me on a road to having a successful and productive life. For this I am eternally grateful. I married my wife Veronica on 11-28-09, “el cielo de mi vida” and have thanked the stars everyday for her. She is the yin to my yang.
In truth, my wife is a model of kindness, gentleness, and compassion. And her insight, counsel, and support have been invaluable to me. Because of her I, too, take a step everyday toward being a better person. She is perhaps the only person who would put up with me, and I look forward to myriad ways that I can show her how much she means to me. Vero: !Yo te quiero MUCHO!
Vero has traveled with me to many places on this earth and we have spent countless hours together as a couple, from the wild fun times we had in Vegas on my birthday, to numerous professional events she has attended at my side (making me look good!) to parties and celebrations and other fun, family related things.
She has also given me the most important other love of my life. Zora Fabiana Reed, born 12-20-10, my daughter, whom I am so in love with. My daughter is the other love of my life. I take every opportunity to give her a loving daddy’s touch, and to comfort her when she is in need. She is amazing, and although she has her moments (sometimes I refer to her as “my favorite headache”), I would not trade the world for her.
